Specifically, John's practice is focused on construction law and litigation, including: Contract and business disputes Mechanic's liens Bonds/surety law Claims Defective construction Real estate disputes Real estate fraud Prior to becoming an attorney, John founded and operated a commercial concrete and masonry restoration business. He brings that experience and knowledge to clients who include contractors, subcontractors, owners, suppliers and design professionals. John represents his clients in mediations, arbitrations and district court actions regarding construction-related matters, including construction and design defects, mechanic’s liens, bonds, delay and disruption, payment, insurance and other disputes. John also provides counsel to his clients related to the preparation and negotiation of contracts and other general business matters. John has experience representing clients at the appellate court level, including the successful appeal to the Minnesota Supreme Court in Peggy Rose Revocable Trust v. Eppich, C3-00-1163, 640 N.W.2d 601 (Minn. 2002), a matter involving construction defects, fraud and arbitration.
